ANGELS in the early morning

ANGELS in the early morning

ANGELS in the early morning
May be seen the dews among,
Stooping, plucking, smiling, flying:
Do the buds to them belong?

Angels when the sun is hottest
May be seen the sands among,
Stooping, plucking, sighing, flying;
Parched the flowers they bear along.

Unwanted and Abandoned

Unwanted, unloved and abandoned

POEM OF A NEGLECTED DOG

Author Unknown

I wish someone would tell me
What it is I have done wrong,
And why I must be chained outside
And left alone so long.

They seemed so glad to have me
When I came here as a pup,
There were so many things we'd do
While I was growing up.

The master said he'd train me
As a companion and a friend,
The mistress said she'd never fear
To be alone again.

The children said they'd feed me
And brush me everyday,
They'd play with me and walk me
If I would only stay.

But now the master hasn't time
The mistress says I shed,
She won't allow me in the house
Not even to be fed.

The children never walk me
They always say, "not now!",
I do wish I could please them
Can someone tell me how?

All I had, you see, was love
I wish someone would explain
Just why the said they wanted mine
And then left it on a chain......

Lazy winter's afternoon

Lazy winter's afternoon

Life is a compilation of such days
a break from the world's maze
Among the ants, the hoppers, the jays
I sink slowly in this winter afternoon's laze...

In solitude, where we are least alone

In solitude, where we are least alone.

It takes time to fall in love with true solitude. And it takes practice. To spend more time with yourself, be out in the world alone and not rush to meet people every weekend. It takes time and practice. But once you get out of that dependency that need for socializing, ah the bliss of all the things in the world await us.

What is true solitude one would wonder. True solitude is when you achieve true awareness, sensing the presence of that which is forever ignored. The shape of my finger tips and toes, the fine lines on my palms, the shape of my footprint, the tiny squirrel family in the tree outside my house and their daily tik tiking sounds, the whiskers of my cat and his claws, the direction of the breeze that hits me, rustle of the trees I live around.

I can go on n on n on.....

Solitude is beautiful
