ANGELS in the early morning

ANGELS in the early morning

ANGELS in the early morning
May be seen the dews among,
Stooping, plucking, smiling, flying:
Do the buds to them belong?

Angels when the sun is hottest
May be seen the sands among,
Stooping, plucking, sighing, flying;
Parched the flowers they bear along.

THE FACE we choose to miss

THE FACE we choose to miss

THE FACE we choose to miss,
Be it but for a day—
As absent as a hundred years
When it has rode away.

Lazy winter's afternoon

Lazy winter's afternoon

Life is a compilation of such days
a break from the world's maze
Among the ants, the hoppers, the jays
I sink slowly in this winter afternoon's laze...

"Kiss my ass" & "Suck on this" come together for one big picture

"Kiss my ass" & "Suck on this" come together for one big picture

We all do it at some point in our life. Who admits to it and who does not is the difference.

Lolz, that little one looks as if he is blowing into his butt hoping he would balloon up and float up up and away

Her Morning Elegance

Her Morning Elegance

Sony alpha A200
Deogarh, Uttar Pradesh

This Spotted deer was a resident at the "kila" in my village.

The "kila" as its locally known is a Jain holy place. It has 100s of very very ancient statues and temples of Mahavir. I will post the pictures of those soon.

This is my village - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deogarh,_Uttar_Pradesh

I will post the colored version of this one in time. If you want to see the colored version then click on the picture and it will redirect you to my flickr gallery.

Bottoms Up :D

Their idea of bottoms up in their parties.....

I think either she was tending to and itchy back or taking a mud bath.

I miss rolling on the ground so much. Remember that fight that time? we pulled the other ones hair and rolled in the dusty ground fighting ferociously :P......by the time it got over....muddy hands skinned knees....dust blown hair....and the oh so familiar muddy taste in the mouth. I miss those fights so much :P

A stalker???

Ranthambore Tiger Reserve

The name Ranthambore is derived from two hills in the area, Ran and Thanbhor. Another version says that Ranthambhore was once called Rana Stambhapura or City of the Pillars of War.

Cat life = Best life

Lion's life = Best life

Canon Powershot S3IS

Sometimes I wish I'd rather come back as a cat in my next life than a human. They have just such perfect lazy lives. They sleep through more than half of their life and rest is spent in idleness. They are not dependent and attention craving like dogs and neither are they timid or scared like rats. They can take care of themselves and would need practically no one.

A cat's life is a beautiful life...

p.s. - thats a big male lion though.

W a r r i o r

Renuka lake,
Himachal pradeash, India.
Nikon D70

Featured in www.nikonstunninggallery.com & www.earthshots.org
Renuka lake is a small, tranquil and not so known place around 320kms from Delhi. A little ahead of Nahan, this place is a holy place for Hindus. The lake here is said to look like a woman's figure seen from the top of the hill it surrounds. Fishing is prohibited here as a result the fish are really old and huge in size. They seem to have little fear from humans and you can see them upclose while feeding them.

Apart from the temples and the lake, there is a wildlife enclosure which is what pulls me back to this place time and again. The Lion Pride there. Around 4 to 5 lions and 10 to 12 lionesses. They have a big enclosure where they roam around freely. But usually they can be seen basking in the sun next to the fencing. This picture is from one of those moments. They were hardly a meter away, all lazy and sleepy. It was the most memorable time I have ever had at renuka.
